Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern use of the TikManager desktop application, this informational website, and related webhook endpoint. By using TikManager, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, do not connect an account or use the product workflow.
You must be legally able to accept these Terms and must satisfy the eligibility requirements of each third-party platform you choose to connect.
Description of Service
TikManager is a desktop application for organizing authorized profiles, user-selected content, local scheduling records, publication settings, and publishing status. Features may include OAuth account connection, local content preparation, a scheduled queue, token lifecycle support, and interactions with supported third-party APIs.
Descriptions of planned or API-dependent functionality do not guarantee availability, platform approval, successful publication, or a specific release schedule.
Authorized Accounts
You may connect only accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to manage. You must not use TikManager to obtain unauthorized access, evade platform controls, impersonate another person, or manage an account without permission.
TikManager does not request your TikTok password. You are responsible for reviewing OAuth permission prompts, protecting your authorized session, and revoking or disconnecting access when it is no longer appropriate.
User Content
You retain responsibility for media, captions, metadata, scheduling choices, privacy selections, and other content or settings you provide. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to use, process, and publish the selected content.
You must not use TikManager for content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, or prohibited by TikTok's policies or applicable law. TikManager does not review or approve your content before you select it.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- securing your computer, hosting account, and local application data;
- keeping authorization tokens, client secrets, and credentials confidential;
- confirming the account, media, caption, privacy choice, date, and time before publication;
- maintaining lawful rights to the selected content;
- complying with applicable laws and third-party platform requirements; and
- reviewing status information and addressing failed or rejected requests.
You must not attempt to interfere with the product, webhook, authorization flow, platform APIs, or other users' systems.
Third-Party Platforms
TikManager is independent and is not TikTok or affiliated with TikTok. Use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, policies, developer requirements, permissions, availability, and technical limitations.
A third-party platform may change or suspend its APIs, permissions, review requirements, rate limits, account access, content rules, or publication behavior. TikManager cannot guarantee that TikTok or another platform will accept, process, publish, retain, or display a particular request.
Availability and Changes
TikManager may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued. Features can depend on local configuration, network access, operating-system capabilities, authorization status, and third-party services. No uninterrupted availability, response time, publication time, or compatibility guarantee is provided.
Scheduled information represents the user's requested plan; it is not by itself a guarantee that an external platform will publish at the selected time.
Security
You must not publicly expose access tokens, refresh tokens, client secrets, cookies, authorization headers, or sensitive webhook payloads. Configure the website over HTTPS and use the hosting environment variable described in the deployment documentation when signature verification is required.
Report suspected security issues through the Support page after the production support channel is configured. Do not include live credentials or unnecessary personal data.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
TikManager is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. No guarantee is made that the product will be error-free, that data will never be lost, that a third-party API will remain available, or that a publication request will succeed.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the persons providing TikManager are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of content, loss of account access, missed publication timing, third-party platform actions, or losses caused by unauthorized use or insecure local configuration. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination and Disconnection
You may stop using TikManager and disconnect or delete local account information through available application controls. Access may be restricted when necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or third-party platform requirements.
Disconnection from TikManager does not automatically delete content or records already transmitted to TikTok. Use the applicable platform controls for platform-held information.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the product, platform requirements, or applicable law changes. The revision date identifies the current published version. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
